March 25, 2022 - From auction, great fill level. Medium body, some bricking now, but lovely clarity and plenty of bright red colour. The nose is all blood, iron and earth, the palate has more blackberry fruit but that maturing, still plenty of freshness and energy. Mature and on its plateau, unlikely to improve d good to drink now and the coming years

October 22, 2019 - Rhone Commanderie dinner (Little Park): This was one of our bottles and I'll be honest that I was a bit skeptical about it. Figured it could either be great (solid producer, great year) or very so so (secondary market and I don't think of Delas Freres in the Cote Rotie at all). Thankfully it was more the first. All of that sanguine and savory notes. In a great spot age wise where the wine is still forward but also very well integrated. Not sure that extra age would help here, but doubt it's going anywhere super soon either. As it opened up in the glass the darker fruits came out too (beginning was all iron and bacon fat). Really enjoyable.

May 31, 2014 - Nose strawberries, smoke, slightly oxidised. Elegant, smooth tannins, fruit old and thin. Long aftertaste. As with many older wines, better with food than by itself. Last of our bottles. Has maybe 1-2 more years of life, but hardly more.

September 27, 2009 - Great nose and started of very well. Very elegant, but low in tannins so very quick finnish. Consume immediate.
