January 19, 2023 - Medium golden yellow in color. Shows classic aromas of herbs, yellow orchard pit fruits, yellow florals and a touch of burnt sugar. Shows good balance of the sweet crushed peaches with very good acidity, and a long herbal, honeysuckle finish.

January 3, 2023 - Drinking well, still amply sweet, this bottle showed more petrol than I'm used to finding in this producer's wines.

August 15, 2022 - Coravin fun - German Riesling plus ring in (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Less concentrated than the Felsentürmchen, stone fruit backed by green apple with a smidge of lemon, very slight honey. Medium plus intensity acidity, tangy green apple, slight dried apricot on the finish. The residual sugar is very slightly too high for the acid but this difference is nominal at best. Okay.

Fantastically vibrant wine, rich and luscious with zippy acidity.

beautifully pure stonefruit, macadamia nut, white mushroom, and light green herbal notes.

Drank as aperitif on 2 year anniversary.

May 13, 2022 - Medium gold in color. Unmistakable aromas of herbs, just a hint of petroleum wax, ripe yellow citrus and crushed peaches. The palate reveals ripe crushed orchard fruits, honeysuckle, very good acidity, salty minerals and a very long perfectly off-dry and floral finish.

February 10, 2021 - Gift from Phil Getson. Drank it with a spicy Indian dinner and it made everything come to life. Will revisit the few drops I have left. Spectacular wine.

October 29, 2020 - Just taking on a hint of toast and white mushroom development. The nose has notes of custard apple, paw paw and lime. It rich, full and unctuous in the mouth, with lime brulee flavours. Acidity is relatively low but it is fresh, with plenty of slatey/minerally things and some tangy lime sherbet to the finish.

July 6, 2020 - From coravin. initially a little lime and lemon on the nose then ripe apples and apricot, slightly dusty notes. That citrus note is on the palate as well and the apples are slightly sharper, the wine is creamy textured and slightly, for me, out of balance - a little sharp perhaps. Still, all travel long and this is pleasing drop.

October 12, 2019 - Delicious pop and pour from cellar temperature. Fantastic off dry Riesling with lovely acidity. These really need 5 more years to hit their peak.

April 12, 2019 - Just starting to enter its drinking window. Dominated by stone fruits, but starting to show a hint of petrol in the nose. Good balance of sweetness and acidity. Delicious and will improve from here.
