November 18, 2023 - Prior bottle was one year ago and this wine remains in an excellent spot and is holding up quite well. Caramel, honey, orange and a nutty quality on the nose. Full bodied with tropical notes, honey, caramel and butterscotch upfront and through the middle. Mid-body continues to show excellent richness and depth, almost viscous when first opened (slightly cold). Tart citrus notes come in on the backside along with spices, integrated tannins and more nut qualities. Overall, despite the richness and density, the tart notes, spices and tannins/acidity leave the wine feeling well balanced. Should be able to hold this level for another few years and I'll plan to open my last bottle in November 2024.

April 29, 2023 - Paired with dessert. Deep orange. Candied orange peel and honeysuckle. Beautiful medium plus finish. Really nice under the radar Sauternes. 93.

December 17, 2022 - Medium gold color. Raisin, marmalade, and vanilla bouquet. Luscious ripe sweet flavor. Rich texture. Adequate acid for balance gives it a cleansing refreshing finish.

November 25, 2022 - 2nd time I have had this wine and it was showing just as well if not better than in 2007. Light gold color. Notes of apricot, spiced pears and tropical fruits. Excellent depth. This still has plenty of life left. 95 points.
