June 7, 2012 - Held up well even past it's drinking window. Still needed time to open but the venturi helped with that. Great fruit and very enjoyable with the salmon we had. Drink 'em if you got 'em.

May 29, 2011 - Excellent wine. Nice full fruit with cherry and cola flavors.

September 5, 2009 - Shared this with a group of friends. Nose had a lot of vanilla/oak and cherry but a bit hot upon opening. Flavor is tart cherry and vanilla. Need sometime to open and balance out. Decenting would help. Needs more time until at least 2010.

(Adelsheim Pinot Noir Calkins Lane Vineyard) Glistening, translucent ruby color. Mild sour-cherry and red fruits and a touch of spice on the nose. Soft, lush mouthfeel opens with fresh red fruit, followed by a frothy mocha, moving to sour cherry, bitter almond, and dried orange peel, finishing with mocha. A perfect wine for a brisk fall day, calling up images of potpourri and spiced pumpkin pie by a fire. Sherry: History by the Glass
