October 12, 2021 - Properly stored for years at Wide World of Wines in DC. Bought it 2 weeks ago. The color was unlike any Chardonnay I’d ever seen… just like the last review, very deep gold. Looked like butterscotch. And tasted like it too. And honey. Not a lot of fruit flavor left. Subtle. Long finish. Very satisfying. First time I’ve ever had 15 year old Chardonnay.

December 31, 2014 - Perfectly stored upon release. Very deep gold color whuch struck me as unusual, heavy weight, "smells like Positano", iow...bouquet shows crisp mineral, jasmine florals and citrus. It's very apealing. The palate however is tainted with a persistent bitterness. The vintage is likely mature at this point but this bottle shows much older than it really is. The oxidation here is unmistakable and unappetizing.

March 18, 2014 - nose-butter, but some smoky mineral background

Nectarine, lemon, butter, some spicy notes, honeyed, but some minerality here as well

Very fruit forward, but some minerality. The nose is more pleasing for me. Full and rich mouth.

    November 19, 2013 - nose-butter, milk, wet stone, straw

Honey, butter, lemon and cardoman at the end

    Unabashedly Cali chard
