November 19, 2011 - No formal note, but this was outstanding. A little subdued initially and through the mid-palate, but on the finish? This was sublime. Truly remarkable.

July 26, 2010 - getting better as it ages. Same flavor profile as last year, , but everything a bit more pronounced. Acidity still very nice, low alcohol.

January 17, 2010 - Beautifully made. Drinks more like Puligny than a Californian. Pineapple, pear, peach and oak. Cream upfront, nice acidty, great mineral notes on the finish. Wish I could buy more

September 2, 2009 - Let this sit for another year. Definitely ready now, but it could use a bit more time to integrate the slight bit of oak. Enough minerality there to make it a very nice wine now, though.

April 17, 2009 - Failla tasting at Cafe Boa

too oaky for me - typical Cali Chard - crisp and clean, nice starter but not my speed

December 22, 2008 - Exhibits good, crisp white pear, white peach, and some wet stones in a medium-bodied, Burgundian style of wine with crisp acidity, nice freshness and a subtle use of oak. Russian River Valley 100% Chardonnay

September 1, 2008 - Big Oak up front, but only 33% new oak...seemed to blow off. Big Cali Chardonnay, buttery and quite pleasant. Nice color, 14.1% alcohol. Has enough minerality and acidity to carry it through, will definitely improve with time
