  September 26, 2014 - Seemed to have gone downhill since I last tasted. Left open overnight and the fruit that came out was weak. Disappointing for a reserve. Could be over the hill, but I feel should have held up despite its age given the producer and the reserve classification.

  November 26, 2010 - Perfect foil for turkey. A real bordeux blend with only 79% merlot. The cab petit verdot balance gave it just enough bite to make it interesting. If you have some drink now, but should hold for a few more years.

  May 30, 2008 - 79% Merlot, 17% Cab, 4% Cab Franc. Nicely balanced blend; holding up well. A bit oak dominated, tannins still evident in a medium to long finish. Very funky nose, dark berry flavors, hint of chocolate in the finish. Very good Cal. Merlot style, and I'm not much for Merlots as a rule.

  February 24, 2008 - Still holding up quite nicely. tannins just about gone, nice fruit, hints of oak and some spicy berry flavors.
