February 14, 2024 - Dark ruby. Nose of cedar and leather. Palate shows ton of dark fruit. A lot of grip left to it. Nice but could be more depth to it.

September 15, 2021 - This is in drinking window now- so don’t wIt too long- it’s a bordeaux blend and style -so cab sauv. Cab franc and merlot- we had with steak - it seemed to need about a 1hr decant to open up- enjoyable but not in the league of their grand vin or other top offerings- but not in their price category either- I think it was about$125- so average QPR. I got some oak and dark berry and faint gravel/rockiness. I think ‘16 wine spectator score (89) too harsh but cellar tracker current “92” likely overly generous?
