August 24, 2014 - Brilliant stuff. Slow-O 1 hour, enjoyed over the following 2 hours. While the color is a little more advanced than expected, the verve of the wine is exciting. Mineral/saline spine holds together a confluence of sweet fruits, exotic spices and chalky earth. Medium plus body, dry, with superb cut and notable length. Drink this over the next 5-7 years, it's in a great spot. 13,5% abv, highly recommended

    Served non-blind.

December 21, 2013 - It's changed a little since my last tasting in 2009 - more honeyed, but with the same intensity and focus as before. Very good now (for the cru and for the style), but will likely get better in the coming 5 years. Acid, fruit and tension are all in above-average regard. This has a promising future, but, as one taster observed this evening, the botyritis could be overly distracting for some. Not as tropical as other notes have mentioned, and rather akin to Chablis Grand Cru meets more-ish Mâcon. recommended, 13,5% abv, thru 2023

April 27, 2013 - Burgundy Tasting at K&L Wines (K&L Wines San Francisco): tasted at K&L
nose: VERY tropical, sweet and as candied as a pineapple
palate: slightly less tropical than the nose, the fruit is as exuberant as a California wine, almost candied, but not. Delicious. But lacking in depth I thought.

June 10, 2009 - Lemon, white flowers, and gravelly minerality on the nose. This is racy, acidic, and is persistant on the finish. Lemony and sharp fruit notes, accented by honeysuckle. Tightly coiled at this point. And lovely.
