February 20, 2021 - Fairly single note at first but once it opened it started to lift a bit - acidity is ok but would like more. Fruit still in decent shape but is fading a bit. I’m guessing this wine would be much better when it was young

February 25, 2017 - Solid - nose a bit muted, some funk and earthiness. Pretty - cherry and some candy. Medium body - and finish. Maybe could take a few more years?

October 10, 2014 - Just what I was in the mood for: a broad-shouldered but reasonable Pinot to accompany my brasserie fare. A whiff of barnyard but it's surpassed by the ripe fruit aroma, new oak is tangible but feels more or less well integrated at this point.

January 24, 2014 - Drinking well this moment. Nose ripe with concentrated morello red cherry and earthy minerality, palate very structured with rich ripe red fruit and some blackcurrant in the background, acidity racy medium and tannin grippy and medium, very refined. finish long and mineral with a focus of red concentrated fruit.

November 22, 2012 - Rather muted nose; plump red and black fruit on the palate with decent grip, perhaps a hint of spice, a hint of tar. Surprisingly light feel to it. Enjoyable yes, well put together too, but at this price ($40) and from this vintage I would have hoped for something more in terms of complexity, depth, weight. Could have mistaken this for a cru Beaujolais - which would have been impressive at this age. But not at this price!

May 25, 2012 - Reticent nose, but pleasant, plump red fruits and good concentration in the mouth. A touch rustic and a bit of sourness toward the medium finish. All-in-all a very enjoyable bottle of wine.
