June 4, 2011 - Enjoyed the fruit aromas but showing a bit of honey and oxidation as well. The palette was medium body. Suzy enjoyed it quite a bit.
May 29, 2011 - great white bordeaux...lime/lemon citrus with grapefruit(!)...a slight minerality which is nice. for under $14, a strong QPR!

August 23, 2009 - This is a bright wine with lots of red grapefruit flavors, excellent balance, and plenty of acidity for a summers day. Very easy to drink.
June 17, 2009 - A: Light yellow color. Light to medium body.
N: The nose is dominated by oak with alcohol and pineapple hints in the background. The oaky nose is very distracting at this stage.
T: Citrus, grassiness, and that subtle minerality that's common with many Sauvignon Blancs, as well as a strong steely component (from the Semillion) especially as the wine warms up . There's also some oakyness in the background.
F: Limes and lemons are initially present on the short finish. They are followed by some lingering and very unsettling oakyness.
Overall: Best serve chilled. Would have enjoyed better if it wasn't for the horrendous oakyness on the nose, as well as on the finish. Hopefully this will fade out with more time in the cellar. A good QPR nevertheless. 86-87
May 23, 2009 - Bright, crisp red grapefruit that is nicely balanced and wonderfully refreshing. Flavorful, zippy and fun. (Should have just said, “same as last note”).
