January 12, 2014 - Klar, gul vin. En noe sjenert vin på duft med florale toner og aroma av sitrus, fersken med mineralske toner som våt stein. Etter litt tid i glasset kommer det også honningtoner frem. En tørr og middels fyldig, frisk vin med høy syrefriskhet. Sitrus og steinfrukt også i munnen med litt grønne urter og mineralske toner. De 14% med alkohol er godt integrert og vinen har en god lengde. Og når et minutt er gått blir hustru og jeg enig om at det finnes ettersmak av fruktcocktail på boks.

July 17, 2010 - This is an excellent, crisp white that is very well balanced and refreshing in the mouth and showing lime, pineapple and wet stones on the nose. Delicious.

N: Tropical fruit, slate
P: Tart citrus, minerality, medium body, off dry, bright acidity - actually more than I expected for the price. My first experience with Kerner, and hopefully it will not be my last.
February 26, 2010 - Musar 95-97, Bergstrom 02-07 at Kirk's (Kirk's Place): I brought this and served it blind, not having tasted it before. I liked their Gewurz though. On the nose, dead-on Philippine mango (nice call, Kirk!), and floral with a hint of green tea. A bit hot on the palate... but I can dig it. Fleshy mouthfeel, decent acidity, slightly off-dry. Very pretty.
February 26, 2010 - '02-'07 Bergström, '95-'97 Musar, and more in Maine (Kirk's Apartment): Pale yellow with an obvious scent of filipino mango, pineapple, and minerality. In the mouth flavors of lemon, pineapple, and quince linger nicely along a medium length finish.
February 20, 2010 - Nice acidic backbone with plenty of stone fruit and minerals. Good structure, very enjoyable.

October 14, 2009 - Color: pale gold. Nose: dried apricot, peach skin. Palate: Rich in the mouth while retaining bracing acidity. Apricot, peach, some slate. Great for pairing with some sole fillets.
September 6, 2009 - Labor Day weekend chez Brad. (My place.): Now there's a mouthful. The wine as well as the name. Pretty intriguing stuff here. It's quite floral and intensely citrusy with a little lime and lemon grass showing on the nose and palate. There's a nice gingery spicy note with hints of cinnamon which combine with the citrus to give it almost a Pine Sol note, though in a good way. Medium-bodied with weight across the palate and solid acidity. There is a bit of heat on the finish which is somewhat distracting, though. Solid B+.
