November 2, 2013 - Primarily red berries on the nose with a hint of oak. In the mouth, chalky tannins, medium bodied but really juicy (but not in bad jammy sense). At times a touch of alcohol heat was noticeable. Medium length finish.

While not the worlds most complex wine, this was immensely enjoyable and the bottle seemed to just disappear. Great QPR.

April 30, 2011 - Inky purple with a sweet blueberry and cassis nose. Intense and fruity with a toasty cedar backbone. Concentrated and rich, maybe lacking a touch of acidity.

April 3, 2011 - Dense ruby red, fully to the rim. The nose is intense and very ripe, almost juice like, with sweet raspberry and mulberry fruit and a touch of new oak in the background. The palate is lighter than the nose suggests, the very ripe fruit is still to the fore and there is a hint of vanilla but the oak is well handled and the wine is quite well balanced. Good value and will be great for BBq's.

March 12, 2011 - Inky ruby red. Sweet aromas with pure, intense blueberry and raspberry fruit, reminiscent of a concentrated fruit juice. Very ripe and fruity with a touch of spice, but not overblown or jammy. Full and creamy with dense, dark chocolate notes and slightly grippy, well integrated tannins.

February 15, 2010 - Grenache has got to be one of the best food wines going, beside riesling, but his wine was served with a morrocan chicken dish and the spices in the meal went very well with the wine especially the cinnamon, played out very well betweent the two. Decent finish. Once again great wine with food, drinking on its own afterward was a little dissapointing but still decent.
