April 3, 2019 - Mild whiff of reduction on the nose, as well as some riper fruit elements. There are some nice herbal elements as well, and this is a wine on the richer side of the spectrum. For my taste, the palate is right at the point where there is a good balance of age and freshness -- this is without a doubt a massively acid-driven wine, but there is some really serious heft to the fruit here. There's also a minute bit of matchstick reduction on the palate, but here it adds complexity. Another winner from Guffens.

June 30, 2018 - Great balance of acid, fruit and minerality. Wish I had more. Drinking at it's apex.

March 29, 2010 - Nice and crisp with good balance. Tasted hay/straw and honey. Mouth-feel and texture is silky. Lots of floral perfume as it opened up. Will probably cellar for another 3-5 years easily.

July 18, 2008 - With a little time to open the oak aromas and honey come together nicely. The flavors are focused and bright like passion fruit or star fruit. liquid stone on the finish.
