January 29, 2021 - Nice Shiraz, still drinking well but time to enjoy.
August 20, 2011 - This wine is still going strong and tasting good. Aging nicely. Enjoy now. But, it also has some more time to evolve. A great QPR Shiraz.
July 17, 2011 - Average Aussie Shiraz with blackberries, spice, pepper and cherry on the nose and palate. The palate is a bit heavy on the spice element and offers a medium finish. A good value, everyday drinker.
February 3, 2011 - A huge massive wine. Loads of concentated fruit. Aromas of sticking your whole head in a Skittles bag. Id like to see some secondary flavors besides the jammy fruit to really make this impressive and unique. I have had this style before and this wine needs something more to stand out above the rest. ($17)
January 4, 2011 - Very enjoyable shiraz. Velvety texture, nice balance of fruit and structure.
March 22, 2010 - solid effort
October 5, 2009 - Ran through vinturi. Big nose. Red fruits, cola, chocolate. Good value wine. Heat on the nose. After about 15 minutes in the glass the nose took on an almost cherry cough syrup note. Pepper came through after about 30 minutes. Heat finally began to die off.
August 19, 2009 - Deep dark color, Plums and flowers on the nose, pretty well balanced for 15.5% alcohol.
May 30, 2009 - Another bold Aussie Shiraz. Wonderful nose of fruit and berries. Lots of structure here, yet smooth tones too. A bit astringent on the finish, but that's my fault for not letting this one cellar longer.
April 3, 2009 - Peppery, more complex than a lot of Aussies, an outstanding value
