April 26, 2023 - Deep color. Blackberries, currants. licorice and chocolate in the nose with blackberries, black cherries and some earthiness in the flavor. Medium to full bodied, well balanced and a medium to long finish.

December 25, 2019 - Initially very closed off and I thought it was flawed. Way way off. But...after about 30 minutes of air, it came around and was a brilliant Napa cab. Sweet fruit popped out and tannins were super smooth. Long finish.

July 5, 2019 - really impressive showing. great balance of red and black fruit, tobacco, dried herbs, vanilla, bell pepper, olive, and hint of exotic spice. Palate was slightly less ripe red fruits, herbs, and mineral. Out performed a lineup of $125-$200 Napa cabs. Still easily 5+ years left in the tank

February 18, 2018 - I’m quite impressed at my restraint! I bought 6 bottles from the vineyard in 2012 and shipped them back to London and it’s taken me until 2018 to drink them all. This is still drinking quite young - not as powerful as it was but that has given way to more elegance and with beautiful balance. The cassis still still there with a lovely red fruit flavour and now some clove and mint. Was superb with a medium rare steak with roast onion and salad. Was a great treat. Always feel sad when a great case of wine finally ends but they were all fab.
