July 5, 2023 - NobleRottersSydney - Henschke (Fix, St James, Sydney): {screwcap} [Paul & DavidM] Two – slightly different – bottles of this following the 04. These were a bit darker in character overall, with one a bit more tense and coiled – more youthful, I guess – than the other. But both black and crisp and fresh, with varying degrees of enticing leatheriness. Less flamboyant than 04. But always a top medium weight cabernet, all the parts in place for years more cellaring.

October 19, 2018 - Sensual and now devoid of tannins, this wine is now at its prime. Enjoy now before it enters the twilight years.

Full of flavour with lots of primary fruit. An incredibly rich Cabernet.

October 3, 2013 - Didn't make notes. Very consistant range of red wines.

November 1, 2012 - Henschke new releases tasting with Prue Henschke (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): A tobacco dominated nose with some big fruit and a spicy dried fruit palette with tannin textures and a soft fruitcake finish.
