Community Tasting Notes 1

June 11, 2008 - Popped and poured, tasted at cellar temperature. Appearance: dark red, edge tinged violet, looking young as it should (4/5). Nose: rasberry, very clear rasberry, maybe a bit of licorice in the background, nice (10/15). Palate: pleasant smooth taste, just a hint of tannins, quite rich but acidic at the same time. Finish quite long and pleasant. Enjoyable! (14/20). Overall: nice week day wine to with dinner, might even improve over a year or two (7/10).
