Community Tasting Notes 1

February 14, 1987 - an educational evening with PdV (@ PdV): Blood red with a brown edge. Dark fruits, oak and licorice in the expressive bouquet. Soft tannin, good acidity. Earthy with some liquorice and vanilla. Very good for the vintage. Ready now, but with enough power to last for a few more years.
