January 28, 2012 - nothing overly complex about this zin. good & easy to drink. just open and enjoy, don't over think
December 9, 2010 - Perfectly serviceable zinfandel. Not overly complex or fussy, with some fruit upfront and a mild amount of alcohol and tannin. Definitely an everyday wine rather than something to save for later.
June 17, 2010 - Jammy, dark berries on the nose with a hint of topsoil. Initial attack of jammy fruit followed by moderate tannins and a medium length peppery finish. Not overly complex, but would be great with grilled food and is very easy to drink, and I don't see any of the negative characteristics described by others here.
May 14, 2010 - I do not understand the below reviews. This was delicious. Aerated for about an hour Ripe berries, drinking very nicely. Was it spectacular, no, not really but it certainly was not 75-79 point range. Perhaps they are bad off bottles here and there? Served at a birthday party and everyone enjoyed this wine.

February 22, 2010 - Nice nose of brambles, dust, spice, and blackberry. Clear garnet in color. Yummy, chewy flavors of cola, boysenberry, and toast with dust on the finish. Light on the tongue, medium tannins. Really nice table red, should be great with mushroom ravioli!
February 17, 2010 - Light wine, nothing special but quite easy drinking. Served with a great sausage and butternut squash stew.
February 7, 2010 - Not particularly enjoyable. Quite sour. Fruits muted until sourness subsided, then a distinct flavor of raisins peeked through. It was drinkable, but not worth purchasing again.
January 26, 2010 - Definitely sour cherries on the nose, only a slight hint of that good Zin smell. Not much showing in the way of taste - cannot get over the sour cherries... very simple, not much else going on. A bit on the lighter side for Zins with a short and flat finish. Overall, not impressed.
