January 5, 2021 - Really nice, classic NV champs with very good value at $40 or less. Ripe fruit, guanabana, honeysuckle, chalk nose. Moderate dosage, good long acid, good texture with fine mousse, no bitterness. Solid value.

April 30, 2020 - Fresh nose with a bit of pear and peach fruit. Medium-light bodied and very correct. This is a decent bottle of Champagne and is certainly a good tipple, but there are bottles of Cava that exceed this at 2/3 the cost. Drink up! 88

Golden yellow colour with a stream of fine bubbles. Still showing lots of life with a mature nose showing butterscotch and vegetal notes combined with a lovely creaminess. Palate shows dried fruit and herbal notes in a very pleasant way with a bitterness on the finish.

August 7, 2015 - This one bought from Albert for half the price of M&S. Tasted alongside the M&S one. All three of us agreed the M&S was clearly superior, fuller, more rounded. Yet the label shows no difference. M&S former director said the Albert version uses 3rd level of quality grapes. Very poor behaviour by Oudinot, which has had M&S as a customer for 30 years

January 18, 2014 - I see this one has inspired very different views and scores. You can get fantastic champagnes made from only chardonnay and you can get Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs that beat champagnes. This one sadly falls short.

Big bubbles going straight up - not refined. Little bouquet. Fresh and drinkable, but watery and overly sweet. No complexity, no aftertaste. Not one you can keep. Would go well with M&S ready meals, which also tend to be a bit sweet.

November 16, 2010 - A typical Chardonnay-intense Champagne. Citrusy tones everywhere and a satisfying taste that is very well balanced. It holds the eagerness necessary to make you take one more sip. Again and again and again and again and again... Elegance it is. Super elegance (however) is not here - maybe hiding in the Krug Grand Cuvée I chose not to buy?
Well worthy of last year's fine award. I won't ever regret the choice of this bottle to accompany the success of my company's latest delivered contract :-)

November 10, 2010 - Wijncursus Les 2 (Bij de lokale Vinoloog): Uiterlijk: Helder, licht geel, middel mousse, Geur: Fruit, matig intens, vleug Broodgist, Smaak: Lichtzoet --> zuur, Volle smaak, klein laagje op de tong, Lange afdronk, tikkie wrang, Opinie: Mooie Champagne voor een redelijke prijs
