Community Tasting Notes 1

August 21, 2012 - Earthy and mushroom on the nose. Damp leaves. Plums. Medium intensity

Ripe red fruit - plum, mulberry, raspberry and strawberry on the palate. Hint of spice, tobacco, oak char and herbaceousness. Feeling of sweetness due to the lushness and ripeness of the fruit.

Medium length, but good intensity and mouthfeel on the palate with plenty of interest. Tannins are soft. Acidity is in tone with the body and sweetness of the wine. Good to very Good. Drinking well now and to end 2014.
