April 14, 2024 - 11 months since my last bottle. This benefitted from a 2 hour decant. A well balanced wine that is in its prime that will continue to drink well for at least another decade. Revisit 2025

October 17, 2023 - Good, typical Saint Emilion bottle without any wow factor. Suave, soft, and fully mature for my taste. This style of wine has no hope of getting better for me, even though I love, love old wines. A tad bit alcoholic and warm as well...feels a bit tired for the style. Drink sooner than later.

August 30, 2023 - The wine needs air for the charm to be revealed.

Still has plenty of primary fruits on the bouquet - cassis, black fruits and star anise. The body once opens up reveals beautiful freshness and fine tannin with plenty cassis and earthiness notes. Lovely finish.

    Drink now to 10+ years.

July 12, 2023 - Huge nose of cedar, cigar box, ripe black cherries, leather... Huge concentration, nice refreshing ripe black cherries, powdery silky tannin, animal, bacon fat.
