August 5, 2020 - The big, dark fruit has mellowed out beautifully. Was enjoyed by both old and new world people.

June 23, 2020 - Dark floral notes: rose&lavender. Smooth structure harmoniously integrates the wonderful fruit&floral notes. I am a fan!

June 7, 2020 - 14.5% alcohol on the label, feels like a good deal more. Pure Grenache. Excellent long dense cork with no wine penetration. Dark colour with barely any thinning at the edge of the rim.
The nose is rich and sweet in an open knit way, bordering on opulent. Ripe dark fruit, but stopping short of cooked. The mouth treads a fine line in that it flirts with a Porty aspect without crossing the line (and no sweetness implied, please this is France!); intoxicating ripe dark fruit. Very rich but still lively and balanced in a manner of speaking. No oak in evidence; superb mouthfeel and excellent length. Some welcome remnant of well hidden structure in the aftertaste.
For Grenache lovers (few of us left as far as I can make out), this may be the ultimate experience.
Whatever you do, do not decant and finish the bottle in a single sitting (a terrible imposition, I have to admit).

May 22, 2020 - Dark fruit, some earth and spice, slightly dry, with some grip. Quite good, but lacks some excitement. Has some time ahead of it.

    April 10, 2020 - Excellent CNdP.
    Oodles of dark fruit.
Thick glycerin like mouth coating texture.
    Nice spicy long finish.
