    January 20, 2022 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.

A bit from memory, but a very nice bottle of Riesling. Very well done in terns of what one would expect from a spatlese.
Excellent balance of sweet and acid.

I may not be the most objective critic when it comes to Riesling -- I tend to like them.

April 1, 2019 - Very enjoyable. Apple, buttery notes. Off dry. Sunny and bright.

September 27, 2017 - Wow - this was really good. No formal note but the richness really stood out - almost creamy and dense. Surprising for a somewhat humble wine. Great nose and disappeared fast...

January 25, 2014 - Tasted of apples and pears; Remarkably creamy; Beautiful golden color, looked like melted butter

(WEINS-PRUM W-S Spatlese) 2007 Mosel Dear Friends, If you are searching for age-worthy Spatlese from the 2007 German vintage, this wine represents a terrific expression of the Middle-Mosel at a tariff abandoned long ago by most. From one of Germany's most storied sites, this wine combines an uncanny sense of femininity with the extractive power that Bert Selbach attempts to achieve. The extra year of ageing has calmed the unctuous white fruit and replaced it with a pure steak of stone that runs through to the finish with beautiful clarity and freshness. I'm not sure what else needs to be said but this is a return to 2001-like pricing that should be applauded and supported. This is not a cast-off or lesser Riesling, this is the actual Wehlener-Sonnenuhr Spatlese: ONE SHIPMENT ONLY at this price with impeccable provenance: 2007 Dr F. Weins-Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Germ7420
