September 13, 2020 - Got better with oxidation.

August 9, 2020 - Hitting it's stride in my view, and likely won't improve. Touch of elegance added. Still huge but not clumsy.

July 31, 2020 - Super silky syrah. Doesn't show any trace of the alcohol - as it grows up starting to look more and more like a baby SQN (which of course it is)

July 5, 2020 - still delicious and drinking well. could last another 4 to 5 years

    June 23, 2020 - Tasted over 2 hrs
-opaque black purple up to the edge
-low key dark berry bacon fat
-med-/low acidity, med+/heavy weight faded dark berry mineral, bitter EtOH/heat and some caramel along with med/med- tannins on long finish
-aged better than I anticipated though I bet the sheer concentration would have led to remarkable longevity if not for the excess heat

    July 2009 (link)

(Lillian Winery Syrah) Stunning, almost opaque, exquisitely concentrated yet beautifully balanced, this Lillian is lush, meaty, and fruity, with jammy blackberries, leather, and bittersweet chocolate on the palate and a two-minute finish. It’s plush, like crushed velvet over blackberry syrup. Cult Wines for Tough Times
