June 28, 2008 - Blind at Zimmer's (Lewis Center Ohio): This was the first wine in our blind lineup.. Sweet red fruit, outstanding balance with smooth silky tannins. Finish was a bit short. Never even heard of these guys and they are producing some great stuff. Even though they are on Monte Bello road, vastly different style than Ridge Monte Bello. This is more sweet fruit, balance and silk than the traditional Ridge Monte Bello. 3rd place for the night

October 26, 2007 - Leaner, with more acidity and less fruit than the plush 2002 - more of a food wine. Terrific QPR; it would be fun to slip this into a blind Bordeaux tasting.
