  June 20, 2021 - The ‘01 was the second vintage.
  Big purple fruit, cedar, graphite, wet stone, a little pyrazine coming out almost like brussel sprout, the finish just. Goes. On. This wine made us so happy on Fathers Day 2021.

  August 15, 2020 - still well structured and tannins were surprisingly strong and smoothed out after it was decanted.

  February 16, 2016 - First off $100 is way too much for this wine. There are plenty of good Cab out of Australia at half the price with similar flavor profile.
  
  This wine tastes more like a French Syrah than a CA Cab. The nose is full of smoked meat with a floral undertone. In the mouth it starts with jammy dark fruits with a light peppery note. It finishes very smoky though. There is enough tannin to hold this wine for another year or two then it will go into an awkward stage and who knows what will come out the other end.
  
  Drink now if you like my comments or take your chances and sit on it for another 5-7 years. I have 4 bottles left and will let them all sit.
