February 28, 2023 - This is a perfectly balanced Spätlese. The fruit is ripe and skews towards stonefruits like apricots or peaches. There's minerality present but it competes with a cool spicy note.

These ripe vintages are great for medium-term aging. Sure, the acid is a tad lacking compared to the sugar level. But for my palate, this it at peak.

August 19, 2021 - Summer of 2021 Cornucopia of Wines (Dogwood Grove, Garezers, HHI): I have had mixed results with ageing my Rieslings – some come out to be a syrupy mess that you might consider putting on pancakes (but don’t!), but this time we had a majestic experience and our most sophisticated tasters were entranced by it. Yellow with a green glint, with a cornucopia of apple, peach, and orange aromas and flavors. But the real star here is probably the texture - thick, oily, so interesting.

December 6, 2019 - Decanted for 2.5 hours. Heavy floral notes, honeycomb, and ripe white fruits come across on the nose. The palate has a wonderful sweetness that tastes of honeydew and ripe white peach.

November 15, 2019 - A still better showing than a bottle a year ago...while still sweet, that sweetness have faded into balance with the lemony acidity, complex melange of difficult-to-identify flavors and the tinniest hint of petrol

September 3, 2018 - Popped and poured. I probably should have decanted as this really opened up after an hour, and came together after a couple hours open. Nice. Crystalline. not over-sweet

December 21, 2015 - Very pale gold color. A flowery nose of tropical fruits that put a smile on my face. I kept delaying tasting since I couldn't quit smelling it. Peach and apple on the palate, balanced with a perfect level of sweetness and acids. A superb spatlese that should be drinking well for another decade or more.

August 4, 2015 - Drank with ROCKNROLLER, and agree that you could finish the bottle yourself without realizing it. Round ripe fruit. Peach. Slightly sweet, but not cloying in the least. Downright refreshing.

August 1, 2015 - My wine of the night and enjoyed other vintages of this wine. Sweet, minerals, peaches and excellent balance. Medium plus finish and very satisfying. Drink now to 2024.
