  June 2, 2013 - Dark ruby color. Had thrown a lot of sediment in the bottle. A bit too oaky but overall a flavorful wine with good body, and if you didn't mind the oak, vodkas balance. But in any case, a very good deal!

  January 20, 2012 - Delightful, ready to drink now, needs about an hour air time, or shake the bottle and wait 30 min. Aromas of berries and wild herb, in the mouth a balance of deep not excessive red and dark berry, stone fruit (agree with dark plum below), vegetal, and light mineral (mix of stone and salty mineral). Medium finish. 100% cab franc. Body medium, acid medium, tannin medium or lower. Very good QPR at USD 17.

  November 5, 2011 - Nose of pepper, ripe plum, and mud. Taste of strong coffee. Age seems to have mellowed the tannins. Finish of earth and mild chiles. A fun wine.
