December 20, 2012 - Delicious! Ripe berries and an almost toasted flavor. Vanilla. Nice balance of tannins. Good depth and complexity.

March 3, 2012 - A good bottle of zin, but not a great one. Agree with "MartyRibs" that for the price, you can do better. Started off with a lot of bite and very hot, but then mellowed into a very similar taste as their slightly lower priced levels.

November 8, 2008 - This bottle was recommended, but I find it fairly ordinary. I overpaid, and I would not buy it again. There are many much better Zins from CA available at a much lower price. Not much body, nothing on the nose except oak, pretty lopsided toward acidity. Some cherry and plum, and ... surprise ... a trace of orange rind. Vanishing finish with overpowering tartness. I tried it at 2 and 4 hours after opening, but did not detect much difference.
