July 10, 2011 - Salone di Grandi Vini Bianchi (Mirabelle Restaurant Austin, Texas): Grape is Trebbiano, lots of tree fruit: yellow apple, lemon and lime, white and yellow flowers, touch of raw cashew, this is a clean and refreshing wine with a touch of sea salt minerality, this wine has pretty high acidity but maintains a round well balanced structure. The second favorite of the flight, among three groups of tasters.

July 21, 2010 - BYO Italian Wine Dinner at Dino (Dino Restaurant, Washington, DC): Honeyed lemon zest on the nose but kind of limp in the mouth and a shortish finish without the zip I was hoping for.

March 24, 2010 - unfortunately this one bottle baked a couple weeks in summer heat of my apartment: fruit was still vibrant on the nose with citrus/lime, unfortunately the minerality was pretty much gone, I'll wait to taste the other bottle I have to give a final response however I can already agree on the excellent Q/P ratio mentioned on other reviews, not oustanding nor excellent but could be very good

January 19, 2010 - Great QPR. Some minerality, green apple and citrus notes, supple and hinting sweetness.

July 20, 2009 - Vibrant lemon and chalk aroma. Chalk and lemon evolve into a lingering candied pineapple finish. Lugana has historically been one of my favorite Italian whites, though it has been hard to find good ones lately. This is a pleasant wine, a well made wine, and bears a passing resemblance to Lugana. However, there is something missing (or something added). I don't know what it is (maybe the yeast?) but something has been done to this wine that makes it one step removed from traditional Lugana.

May 16, 2009 - Mineral and chalk nose. Very light flavor of honey and pineapple, but strong acidity that provides backbone to the wine. Great with white fish or light seafood pasta, definitely a food wine. Light honey and pineapple flavors with a long finish.

April 12, 2009 - This continues to be a great value white - went very well with a simple pasta - but is a little light and while quaffable isn't going to fight it's corner too well.
