  April 5, 2024 - Intense blackberry, smoke, olives and spices on the exiting nose. Rich and fleshy palate with plenty of sweet fruit, which last in the pretty long finish, also with fine tannins.
  I had this first time blind in a set with Chave 2003 and while not as elegant, it was a close call, but i guess this is different today. Feels mature.

  January 4, 2024 - Fully ready to go, the wine is concentrated with layers of lush, round, ripe, sweet, fleshy, dark red fruits, smoke, wet earth, and spice. Opulent in nature, the wine shows no sense of overripeness or heat. It is generous, deep, and long. with a smoky edge to the fruits on the palate and in the finish. Drink from 2024-2034.

  July 10, 2022 - Decanted through a metal screen filter catching some larger sediment but I should have used cheesecloth as there was a streak of "sludge" that negatively affected our enjoyment of this wine throughout our consumption. The color was a medium purple. The nose was extremely earthy with very little fruit. The palate showed blue and black fruit, but they were diminished by this earthy sludge that permeated the wine. I will write this bottle off to experience and refrain from rating this wine.

  January 29, 2022 - 果味乌黑浓密，复杂度高。黑李子、黑莓、黑莓等，还带着一些糖渍黑樱桃等果干味，成熟且整合度高。中段开始出现一些焦糖、咖啡和提拉米苏蛋糕的味道，香料粉，还有一些类似药草碎的味道。入口饱满，酒体大，集中度不错，一开始也比较紧致，酸度和浓度都高，单宁多，呈现出比较细致的粉质，集中在舌头中段，慢慢包裹口腔。各种味道攒成拳头，喝起来很结实，和嗅觉类似的成熟黑果，浓郁甜美，带着一点干紫罗兰，还有些巧克力、太妃糖和卡布奇诺之类的味道，收尾长，还带有一点药草碎。92/100

  December 2, 2021 - Dark ruby color turning violet at the rim with a reflective edge. The nose gives off smoky nuances of black peppercorns on dark berries. The palate is soft, round, and super elegant and super ripe with blackberry, and black cherry. Secondary flavors of black peppercorn, clove, and cowhide leather on toasted oak. Finishes long with dusty tannins. Drink now until 2028.
