  July 6, 2017 - Various wines and sherries from Madrid Vacation; 7/4/2017-7/6/2017 (In and around Madrid): Ordered at Angelita's in Madrid. Great wine bar. 6.5 Euros per glass. Deep golden amber in color. The nose has fresh roasted nuts, salinity, slight vanilla, and a bit of orange peel. Gorgeous. On the palate, this is dry. deep and layered and complex. A bit nutty but also very fresh at the same time. Slight salinity. Long finish. Served with olives, this is outstanding. Wonderful wine that could go at any point from before to after a meal. Wow.

  May 6, 2015 - The Big Fortified Tasting 2015 (Church House Conference Centre, Westminster, London): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Deep amber colour.
  Nose: The nose is Clean and Fully Developed, showing Medium(+) intensity tertiary aromas of hazelnut , walnut, roasted nuts, caramel, dried fruits, nutmeg.
  Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a Medium level of acidity. It has a High Level of alcohol (20.00%). It has Medium(+) body and Pronounced intensity tertiary flavours of hazelnut , walnut, caramel, nutmeg, dried fruits, roasted nuts. The finish is Medium(+). It has a salty tinge. Roasted nuts..
  Overall: Complex and elegant;longish finish, quite pronounced flavours.
  Conclusion: It is an Outstanding quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing This is fully developed and will not improve with bottle ageing.; Super-Premium priced (£70.00)

  October 27, 2013 - A block of marble floating on air. Massive power and length, but not overpowering or overbearing. Extremely well balanced, not clying, but just lingering on in the mouth what seems like forever.
