  April 30, 2010 - Lots of dark red fruits and dark cherry, not a lot of noticeable tannins. Easy to drink with chicken and spicy grilled Baja black beans and rice (a Mexican spicy vegetable dish with grilled chicken.

  October 1, 2009 - A reasonable Portuguese Dão red. Not, as has been said, complex. But fruity, for a European wine. Low good (81.5).

  September 21, 2009 - Impressive dark ruby color. Nose is a dusty black raspberry with a little vanilla on the back end. Taste is a drying earthy black fruit with very firm tannins. Pretty darn well balanced. Very good QPR.
