May 17, 2021 - Immediately drank after decanting. Surprisingly big for such an old valpo. Huge nose of currant, raspberry, leather, dry earth, and a bit of spice. The palate was no let-down, with striking acidity and grippy, bitey tannins. Got better and better over the couple hours we drank it, though due to age the finish was a little short, medium in length. Beautiful wine, lucked out with this purchase at $10.
