September 2, 2013 - Bits of biscuit, light yeast, slight bit of cream, hints of tart, green apple surround this sparkling wine. Drinking wonderfully right now, and for the price is just a steal.

June 29, 2013 - Bubbly, fizzy, delicious. Lemons, wood, pear, and golden apple. Very clean, pure flavors. Showing beautifully right now but with some life still left. Blind, could be a dead ringer for sold Champagne or excellent Cremant.

November 22, 2012 - Not as complex or interesting as I remember from the winery, but still pretty well-balanced. Tasted blind, I could see this being mistaken for a dry, artisan hard apple cider.

December 28, 2011 - Really interesting flavors on this most recent disgorgement, fresh white grapes, tangerines, stone fruit. Very zippy and fresh feel on the palate. Drinking really well.

July 9, 2011 - An Evening of hand shipped Oregon wines with Steve Ruffiner and Lynn Ellen Maas (Home of Lynn Ellen Maas): A real treat, I really enjoyed this wine. To me this bubbly is somewhat unique in the manner that is considerably more full in body than usual for a sparkler. It has a mouth feel almost as thick and viscous as Chardonnay, with the lightness and palate cleansing characteristics of a bubbly. I suspect the wine started it's life intended to be vinified as a chardonnay, and they decided to put it through secondary fermentation to become a sparkler. It is all good, and we are glad they did. Very yellow in color. Peaches and lemon and yeast on the nose. More peaches, and a lot more yeast on the palate. Not real heavy in the acid department. Has a slight oily, glycerine flavor that only enhance. Nice long heavy finish.
