Community Tasting Notes 1

July 9, 2008 - Outstanding wine. One of the most balanced wines I have ever tasted. The nose is incredible; fresh strawberries, some cinnamon, brown sugar, toast, rose petals, blackberries and hints of vanilla and cocoa. I wanted to smell the glass all night long. Wonderful mid palate, and delicious finish even though too short (2-4 seconds). On the mouth, ripe red berries and flowers. After the first sip you know that the winemakers are true masters of their craft and that they make the best possible wine without tricks or simply looking for better ratings or reviews. This is a clean, honest, perfectly balanced wine that represents with honors the Loire Valley. Absolutely wonderful. Will definitively buy more and will try all the Puzelat wines I can find.
