July 5, 2013 - Extremely refined and subtle at first with complexity opening up after about 45 minutes of decanting.

January 21, 2011 - Couldn't wait any longer, had to open. 30 minutes after opening, very nice. Rich dark color, full bodied, big on fruit but not too heavy, nice finish. Think timing was good, not sure it has legs to go much longer. Enjoyed with chicken fajitas and black beans. Nice sediment too, love sediment.

May 24, 2010 - Dark purple in glass, no bricking, with a nose of vanilla-scented blackberry and some spice. Palate was rich with smooth black fruit, sweet tannins and offered a long pleasant finish, but the balancing acidity was dropping off from our last bottle. At peak right now, drink up.
