December 8, 2021 - Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Some random wines.: Garrigue, vanilla, dark and red berries as well as a bit rustic in the beautiful bouquet. On the palate blackberries, coconut, cigar box, vanilla from the oak and a beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness. Ready now, but no great hurry. 91 - 92

May 1, 2021 - deep red color, young nose, wild cherries with spicy oak, rolling waves of full bodied fruit, elegant and lush, zesty chalk and licorice notes with some hints of dark chocolate, really wonderful wine that seems to be quite young still but very enjoyable even though subtle delights should come with additional age.

February 17, 2020 - Just in time tasting of this mature C9dP by top producer Janasse (Courthezon). The smell is already fading a little leaving old books, waxed leather and prunes. But the taste is still royal and ripe. Full ripe figs and prunes, with licorice, cloves and black pepper and melted tannins. Gonna buy some lamb meat now!’

    15.5%Alc 80%GRN/10%SR/10%MVD 80% in tanks & 20 in new oak

December 7, 2019 - Next to last bottle of this beauty drunk with pork loin roast. PNP Concentrated flavors of dark fruits, licorice, earth and herbs. Drinking beautifully.
