July 29, 2009 - I found this wine on sale at Trader Joe's for $5 and picked-up a few bottles, having previously bought a few bottles of their NV Allure de Robles a year or two previously. Sure enough, it was a fantastic blend as I remember the NV being, espeically for the price. The wine is rather oaky (in a good way) but well balanced with a rich, smooth, smokey finish. Very nice, and FANTASTIC for the price. If you can find this wine for anything under $7.50, buy it by the case. I bought two cases from TJ's as a (almost) daily drinker. For the price, this wine can't be beat in my opinion. Is it the best I've ever had? Of course not. It is WONDERFUL at $5 a bottle? You bet 'cha!!!

March 9, 2009 - Not a bad budget quaffer with a simple dinner. Good fruit, but a little bitter. At 5 bucks, would buy again.
