July 10, 2011 - Drank over three days and by the third day this really came out of it's shell. The nose opened up with great dark fruit and earth. Those who prefer a fruit bomb would be disappointed, but if you like the old world funk with some nice fruit you would enjoy this. It is not meant to be consumed now, but if you give it time you will be rewarded.

April 14, 2010 - One of those back-of-the-lorry details evidencing the decline in Bordeaux prices predicted. Thus, even if it was really bad, which it wasn't the pain would not be great. That said, it was not of the kind to write poetry about the beauties and grace of St. Emilion more's the pity. Pretty typical earthy cassis woody nose, somewhat muted; on the palate, quite noticeable cassis initially, giving way to an astringent tannic finish. Were these to resolve over time, one wonders if there would be sufficient content remaining to maintain interest. Time to try some of the others.

April 12, 2010 - Very dry with minimal fruit and rough finish. Not complex at all
