Community Tasting Notes 1

September 15, 2013 - Light garnet in color. Nose of violets and cherries. Tastes of dark cherries, tobacco, violets and hint of earth. On day one somewhat out of balance with a light character and light on fruit. Day two it fills out, but shows the characteristics of a hot year such as 2003 with a need for acidity. Pleasant and pairs well with food, but not indicative of a Barolo from this sight.
