June 10, 2023 - This bottle is quite good, less “strident” than last time, with full on goodness. Excellently ripe white fruit nose, nice mouth (if slightly acidic), and an extended, slightly talcy length that’s quite pleasantly present.

June 3, 2022 - Wow! So much better than last bottle.

    Bright lemon flesh in color.
Lemon zest. Some nuttiness. Cotton. Loads of sea shore salinity.
Tight, loads of minerality. Tastes like the nose. Lemon zest dominates. Starting to soften although still llots of acidity. Longish finish. Wow! Delicious juice and will only get better if it survives premox. Always a carp shoot with these older whites. But this was perfect.

    Salmon dinner by Brutt.

September 21, 2021 - Bought on release, sound cork (Durand removal), perfect fill, with AWM and JEL. Good inital nose, rich palate, spherical complete Grand Cru wine that was delightful with cheese souffle. Very persistent and Bougros flair. Almost opulent when open 3 hours, just a killer wine, score ranged 91-94. Exudes magisterial grand cru completeness, very satisfying swill. A priviledge to taste if not the breadth of Le Clos or Preuses.

November 22, 2020 - {Bought on release, perfect fill, PopNPour to taste while I throw cases around in the cellar and try to make sense of it all. 4 left.} Citrus, orchard fruit, round fruit, very good length and some minerality to boot. Does not have the acid cut/intensity of a younger wine but as a package this bottle is spherical without any rough or sharp edges and legitimately tastes like a Grand Cru.

Initial rating 92, after it had been open 2+ hours it filled in in terms of volume and fruit without becoming at all flabby. 93.

No premox here. My understanding is Fevre changed to Diam corks in 2010.

August 20, 2020 - 2007 Burgs, round 1 (Noize): Just about on the right side of the line - apple juice and nuts, with sufficient freshness to keep things enjoyable, especially with the food. Mathieu Germond observes that he has opened a few bottles of this wine in the past six months and they are extremely variable - some extremely fresh, some completely dead, and some (like this one) needing to be drunk up. Overally not a disappointing experience, but not a great one either; however, it matched really well with the food and the last sip was the best!

August 14, 2020 - Didn’t have the premox issues others have reported. Wasn’t spectacular, but was happily consumed very quickly by the table.

June 3, 2020 - Flawed. Premox, I'm getting a little tired of pouring £30 bottles of Fevre wines down the sink.
