July 20, 2020 - Opened two bottles - both oxidized and undrinkable. a pity!
April 6, 2020 - I was shocked by the great condition and viviness this bottle have. Medium body, still in good balance, fruits and tannis integrated to a modest acidity. The finish isn't too long but very interesting. I think this bottle could have gone another 5-10 years, but obviously it's past it peak.
DRINK.
November 13, 2017 - Good strong nose but not much fruit left. Only pencil lead, earth and leather.
July 30, 2017 - Garnet in color with bricking edge. Nose of cherries, cola, and hint of leather. Tastes of cherries, plums, hints of milk chocolate and tobacco. Not going to improve, but in a lovely place for the short term.
May 21, 2017 - This wine has clearly seen better days, but it's still drinking nicely. A bit thin, brick colored. Still a bit of bright fruit hanging on. Menthol and fresh garden hose on the nose and entry. Loads of sediment - be sure to filter.
November 16, 2016 - Deep dark red, hint of yellow
Spicy nose, camphor, mint, dark spices
Great acidity, fresh, tannins still quite firm. Powdery tannins. Dark fruit underneath with notes of leather and tobacco. Touch of chocolate
Full body, still tastes very young. Long finish.
Big wine like a modern right bank Bordeaux though 100% cabernet
Very concentrated
April 22, 2016 - Surprisingly alive!
Clear evolved notes on the color with an orange rim, but the fruit was still there and nicely integrated.
Menthol notes bring some freshness in the end.
A very pleasant experience
December 15, 2014 - no longer drinkable
September 18, 2013 - Light and a bit thin. Some nice elements like the signature cassis tree. Overall disappointing..
August 3, 2013 - Fruit is played out, but a smooth rendering of secondary and tertiary notes.
