December 22, 2020 - My second bottle of this vintage, eleven months after the first and its just as fresh and unflawed as the prior bottle. Smells like a bush fire but tastes like cherry candy. This is delicious, light bodied - very good for the $34 I paid for it.

January 20, 2020 - Quite brown at the edges, I was delighted to be opening a 2007 bottle with a screwtop, having been burned by too many dried out corks last year. Floral on the nose, this has sour cherry fruit with smoky notes and attypically feminine for a Barossa shiraz blend, light, delicious, with a long finish. Very nice.

December 16, 2016 - The wine is more delicate than may be expected for a Australian wine from the Barossa Valley. Raspberry, sweet cherry, rose, and a hint of fresh pine. Well balanced and nice with pork. Great QPR.

May 3, 2015 - Red core. Raspberry and red plum nose. Well balanced palate with some sweet floral notes that complemented the plum, raspberry, and cherry quite well. The wine is very well balanced with some acidity left in the middle and extending into the finish. It has a little weight to it, but is dexterous and lithe at the beginning. Well made and enjoyable. Has a couple years of good drinking left.

October 1, 2013 - Not in a good mood today and just wanted get drank, unconsciously pull out this bottle from my cellar, perfume nose of sweet barnyard notes brings back my sweet childhood memories of living in a small fishing village, in a wooden house with my parents and siblings, days where I do not need to worry but full of hopes for the future... but the slightly bitter grippy tannins brings me back to the reality, that my currently state could be tough and uneasy... I have my heart full of tears but not on my face... as I learned that I need to face the reality BRAVELY and move on... for that I should not give up my hope... cheers for a good night sleep!
    What a wonderful wine

February 19, 2013 - Tasted blind. Aromas and flavors of juicy black fruit with toasty oak. Long finish with sweet tannins.

April 15, 2012 - Good Shiraz blend. Color of deep red. Smells of ripe berries, primarily red. Taste was consistent with scents. Relatively smooth and not too hot. As a comparison, not as fruity as the various Shiraz from Mollydooker.
