Community Tasting Notes 3

Lourd.

March 11, 2010 - A well balanced and simple Chardonnay that is easy to drink. Scents of oak are not overbearing yet enjoyable. The wine finishes very well and has just the right amount of acidity. Probably not as creamy or butter as some other Chardonnays but this is what I liked about it.

November 26, 2008 - A difficult wine to pinpoint: "typical" for California Chardonnay, but still nicely restrained with lots of French oak-framed notes of baked apple, fig and floral notes. Very complex, and extremely well balanced with supple acidity.
