December 26, 2018 - Very interesting wine that had a freshness to it that was surprising. Could have been the screw top. Don’t see this getting any better.

November 26, 2018 - Deep dark garnet hue. Syrah/cabernet nose-- dark berries, sweet tobacco. Dark berries, long finish, lots of fruit, full bodied. Terrific with or without food. Great on a cold day around a fire. Enjoyed this bottle.

September 13, 2018 - Still deep and opaque purple-garnet, very viscous, coats the glass. Powerful syrah aromas dominate, with lots of alcohol on the nose. Sweet-spicy black fruit aromas, charred wood. On the palate huge and powerful, very dense black fruits, very hot from high alcohol. Very long but hot aftertaste. Became a bit cloying after the first glass. All power but little finesse. It hasn't really changed since first released, and I'm not sure it will. This may just be a massive fruit bomb and should be drunk as such.

December 24, 2017 - Consistent with earlier tasting - This unique blend really works with the Cabernet adding breadth and depth to the big black inky purple colored full bodied Shiraz. The result is a powerful full bodied complex wine with concentrated forward chewy tongue coating black berry and black cherry fruits accented by ripe plum and spice, a layer of leather and hints of anise with fine silky tannins on the long finish.

March 19, 2017 - Much different experience than prior tasting. Black berries and plums on nose and palate. Much more balanced. Still a high alcohol wine, but much better integrated.
