July 17, 2009 - Similar notes to before. Let it decant about an hour. Could have used more. But, man this is good!!

January 18, 2009 - Wonderful tannins. Not sure if this is what Syrah is supposed to have, but I love it. Smooth, integrated tannins. Dark color. Smell of plum, pepper and spice. Dark fruit with a hint of cherry on the palate. There is also a meaty note. Good mouthfeel, and long, long finish.
