October 22, 2016 - Prominent raspberry/strawberry/spice on the nose, bright fruit/spice on the palate. Surprising body/silkiness in one's mouth. No participants in blind tasting guessed it was Gamay.

December 4, 2012 - I found this to be a very aromatic Gamay with good concentration and a nice touch of spice. Fair to good acidity. Needed about 15 minutes of air to really show its best, and continued to round out and get more spicy with time. This is a fine example of what a well made Cru Beaujolais can deliver, even from a ubiquitous producer.

February 27, 2011 - This was better after a little time. Not usual for a Gamay from what I have read. Not bad for a light red.

May 27, 2010 - Similar note to my previous bottle. This has a bit more softness but he same amazing nose of raspberry and strawberry. I really enjoy this wine.

March 1, 2010 - Very strong metallic nose, but there is also some bubble gum, banana, orange and cherry. Very fruity taste, but there is also some disturbing metallic notes in the finish.
Well made wine; I should really stock more of these Cru Beaujolais. Will probably last a few years

December 11, 2009 - Very light and refreshing red. Nice acids, a hint of sweetness and good subtle tannins. Good for a warm day on the porch, served slightly chilled but not cold. Would definitely bye again.

December 2, 2009 - For the price I paid, it's a decent wine. Disappointing nose, but smooth berries and currant flavors.

October 28, 2009 - Garnet colour with lighter looking viscosity. Smell: very fruity, slightly sweet, fruits of cherry, concentrated grape juice, raspberry and most of all strawberry. Subtle scent of warm spices (nutmeg and cardamom) underneath. Taste: medium body, light and quite surprisingly sweet entrance. Nice tannin on the finish, although finishes short and not very smooth. Notes of strawberry and strawberry leaf, concord grape and grape jelly, black currant, blueberry. Although a bit sharp, the finish does have a nice pleasant dryness. A good wine on its own or with a smokey entree. More complex fruit and smoother finish would be preferred. Oddly refreshing.

October 28, 2009 - Strong alcohol and sweet berries (scented candle like). And highly floral with a bit of sweet muscat/honey smell. Medium body, nice complex flavour with quick finish. Slightly woody and very floral. Cranberry, raspberry and lots of apricot. A bit of pine nut. Very unique fruity wine. However, the structure is a bit off balanced. Tannin strength not working well with the rest.
